Our room on arrival was close to the lift,so very busy and noisy. When we mentioned that we'd requested a quiet room, a suitable one was found for us. As it was our 35th wedding anniversary, a big fuss was made of us with fresh fruit, cheese, wine and cake.
Each member of staff was courteous and very helpful.

Breakfast was great. Location is a little off the main area but a very quick 5-10 min walk to the bustle of the commercial harbour area. Super new and clean with nice quality linens, comforter, comfortable mattress, Aircon, modern tv etc.

Suva is very busy but a vibrant city. I heard lot of stories about robberies so be careful when travelling or shopping. Phone and bag snatching is common! But it can be fun if you are alert and careful.

The capital of Fiji has old colonial buildings which remain in use. The city is safe although the locals warn about pick pockets. The police made regular patrols. The harbour is beautiful while Thurston Park is full of tropical plants.Fijian cusine is not exciting. although there are plenty of curries of interest. Taxis are pleantiful and cheap. B uses require a stored value card.

The people of Suva are lovely, warm and welcoming.
The people of Suva are lovely, warm and welcoming. However there are not a lot of things to do in Suva and the harbour is not clean enough to swim in. The traffic congestion is surprisingly bad. We walked a lot, footpaths are in bad condition or not available.
Places worth visiting are the museum, local market, handicraft market, Thurston Gardens (I was left wondering was that it!), watching locals play sport outside Parliament. For those interested in numismatics a visit to the Reserve Bank of Fiji is worthwhile.
Best meal out was at Paradiso.
Best outing from Suva was to Colo-i-Suva Forest Park

The last stay at the Eco Lodge and the Rainforest Park...
The last stay at the Eco Lodge and the Rainforest Park adjacent we visited changed my view of Suva - It's not just a city/capital. I wished the govenment would upgrade the roads inside the park, and make it a safer place for visitors especially at night.

I always stay at the Suve Holiday Inn when i'm visiting family....my favourite hotel. It was so central to every places that we visit. It was like home away from home. I tried to eat at different restaurants in the surrounding area. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a great start to the day with so many different selection of food. Keep up the good work everyone. See you soon again.

Its a friendly place and seems quite safe.
Its a friendly place and seems quite safe. Lots of shops etc. Wide range of restaurants, and food courts if you need a lunch in town.
Lots of souvenir shops and a souvenir center behind the post office. Remember to bargain.
Taxis are everywhere and cheap
Personally I would steer clear of the large "international" hotels, and find a clean 2nd level one. The large international hotels are just that. You could be anywhere.
Everything. The staff, the rooms, the food, the pool, and the view: We really enjoyed our one night at the Holiday Inn in rooms 153 and 232. It's a good and safe place for family holidays.
Furthermore, the workers were fantastic. They know how to handle guests so they can enjoy their stay at the Holiday Inn, like greeting everyone with Bula and smiling at every guest at the hotel as we feel at home.
Thank you, Holiday Inn, for your excellent hospitality
This place exceeded my expectations, and the photos here do not do it justice. We arrived to a very clean, well maintained apartment. Suer easy access with the lockbox just outside the door. 2 story apartment with all the amenities and a balcony on the second floor bedroom. Definitely better than staying at a hotel where you pay 10x the price and a room that can barely fit the queen size bed you get here. 100% would recommend to anyone.
Mishra is a very very welcoming host! He will do everything to make your stay as nice and comfortable as possible. He gives you advise about anything you want. The room was really cosy and nice and all the facilities were very clean. Thank you very much to Mishra and his wife! I'll recommend you to everyone who will come and visit Suva! Take care!
The design and master bedrooms are way too good and the bonuses it comes with expensive furniture’s and other electrical using appliances. Best experience so far in Suva city to have something to stay coming from a smaller city/ town- worth the money I had paid for. Looking forward for another stay soon. Parking convenience is good as well.
This place is located near other hotels in Suva and is a good alternative. There is no wifi and the reception of mobile wifi is not so good in the room. The rooms are spacious and with a nice WC. The AC is new and there is also a fan.
They have a water slide into the pool, which can be fun.
The location of the hotel was great. Very close to the city was easy to navigate around Suva from here. The room was very big and the bed was comfortable and clean, the bathroom was also large. It was a nice hotel. We booked directly with the hotel a 2nd time also
Everything about it is jst so..so perfect..We really love every bit of the apartment, the view of Suva harbour, everything 💯💯💯💯💯💯 Looking forward to come back there🥰🥰🥰
