Fabulous location in easy walking distance of the old town, marina, market etc. Very clean comfortable hotel, very much in keeping with the price charged. Breakfasts were excellent and the bars were spot-on, especially the Caelum bar by the rooftop pool. A great introduction to Tarragona.
With a privileged position enjoying sea views and just 10 minutes' walk from the historic centre, this modern hotel has a fabulous breakfast and an outdoor swimming pool.

The property manager (sorry, his name escapes me) was jovial, fun, accommodating, helpful and very welcoming. All the staff were pleasant and always said hello. The best staff I have come across in 9 weeks of travelling thus far . The communal area had an easygoing vibe, too. Rustic, quirky decor with character. Homely feeling. Bed was super comfortable. The room was a decent size with a balcony. There’s no aircon, but there is a ceiling fan that does the job. The accommodation was easy walking distance to restaurants, the market, grocery store, beach, and train station. I wish I could’ve stayed longer.
Set in Tarragona’s modern district, this hotel offers soundproofed rooms with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs. The A-7 motorway is just 200 metres away, while the historic centre is 10 minutes away.

Tarragona is located on the sunny ‘Costa Daurada‘, in southern Catalonia. With an inheritance dating back to local tribes, Carthaginians and Romans, it is today a vibrant cultural and economic centre. Don’t miss the ‘human towers’ during Tarragona’s Santa Tecla Festival, but check your hotel availability for the area with enough time in advance.
The ‘human towers’ became so popular all across Catalonia that they can be visited throughout the year at the festival centre ‘Casa de la Festa’. Try the local seafood dishes in El Serrallo fishing district, and don’t miss the wines from the area.
The city was an important provincial capital during Roman times and includes several UNESCO World Heritage sites, with the seaside amphitheatre from the 2nd century being the most relevant. The 12th-century Cathedral of St Mary was built on the site of a former Jupiter temple and a Muslim mosque, and mixes Romanesque and Gothic styles.
Reus Airport is a few kilometres outside the city, while Barcelona El Prat Airport is 90 km away. Tarragona is located near Salou resort, and hotels in the area are also very popular. Whether you need a guest house in the historic centre or a resort on the beach, check out the Tarragona accommodation deals on Booking.com!
Very nice small coastal city. Ramble Nova was fun place to eat/drink/walk, good public transportation, convenient train station, several nice beaches, walkable city, clean sidewalks and streets, friendly and helpful businesses and locals. Welcoming to tourists.

Tarragona was the Roman capital of the Iberian Peninsular so there are a lot of Roman remains, ruins etc. There are also lots of interesting shops and a great market. If you go to the market, look out for the clock at midday.

Tarragona is a beautiful historic city with a lovely coastal backdrop. There are cultural things to do in the town and seaside walks and paella/seafood restaurants by the beach so a great place to combine activities. We've visited three times and been enchanted by the cathedral, local eateries and the countryside. Great to visit with a car or with pets and worth exploring all along the coastline, wetlands to the south and of course more of Catalunya to the North including the famous Sitges en route to Barcelona.

It was easy to walk around and see the sights.
It was easy to walk around and see the sights. Tarragona was a very interesting city. I enjoyed seeing the Mediterranean Sea and the gardens near the old Roman Amphitheatre. I also enjoyed looking at the Roman Circus. We ate at the Forum Restaurant opposite hotel Place de la Font, in the old city square (i.e. Pllace de la Font) . The quality and service at the restaurant was outstanding.
Everything was wonderful, including the breakfasts at hotel de la Font, There is nothing that i would avoid.
The location is incredible! We had street musicians serenading us below the balcony, on the Rambla Nova below. The amazing beach lookout point at the end of the avenue is less than a block away. The place is well appointed and comfortable, and two of the bedrooms have an ocean view. There's a grocery shop a block away, the amphitheater is around the corner. We fell in love with Tarragona. It was fantastic
The hotel felt new, clean, lovely decor. Room was spacious and had great amenities (desk, big TV, minibar fridge). Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very very good and was kept well-stocked. Loved the self-serve espresso machine. Location was an easy walk to the Roman ruins. Neighborhood was lovely. Great view of the sea. Grounds were very serene and underground parking a bonus!
We stayed only one night, but my wife and I both wished our plans could have kept is in Tarragona longer. The hotel is beautiful, the room was spacious and had an amazing view of the sea and the ancient Roman amphitheater (the hotel is designed so that all rooms have a sea view). The bathroom was luxurious and well equipped. We were comfortable and happy during our one night here.
In beautiful Tarragona for wedding and this hotel was perfect. The staff were fantastic, welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was nice and big with huge comfortable bed, well lit and good bathroom with big shower. The views off the beach and the ocean was picturesque. Finally, the breakfast was great and catered for pretty much anything you could want. Would highly recommed.
We chose the hotel for it's location but the train directly next to the hotel was never the one we needed. The hotel was always swamped with guests trying to check-in and not enough staff. The room was super hot and not that clean. The front desk was okay but the least cheerful or helpful compared to all the other hotels during our two week trip. Sorry but wouldn't recommend.
Pigal is just perfect place in Tarragona. First of all people, totally helpfull and very friendly. The hotel is very close to old town, Central Market and train station, which wad important as we travel with train. The room was very clean and comfortable with good wifi. The hotel has good vibes because of people and retro interiors :)
Nice location close to the beach. Beautiful beach and cliff walk. Lovely neighbourhood. Walking distance to tarragona old town. Bus stops very close also. Apartment has everything needed for an enjoyable stay. It was very clean and had all essentials. I would stay there again.
I would give 4* to this hotel. Spotlessly clean. Nice comfy bed and pillows. We had a very good sleep there. Good breakfast with cold cuts and eggs and pastry, good coffee. The amazing beach is in 5 minutes walking distance. Highly recommended!
This is a nice hotel, located close to the beach. The room was bright and a decent size, and the large bed was very comfortable. Whether the location is convenient for the old town depends on your ability to walk up a very steep hill.
Small family run hotel. Very comfortable beds, nice breakfast, nice pool, quiet.A 5 min walk to the beach. Bus stop opposite 1.50€ to the old town. Attentive staff.
Ask for 3rd floor pool/ sea view, 308 on end next to the fire escape.
The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Located at the entry of old town it is convenient to several plazas, bars and restaurants. Walkable from the train station and to monuments, museums and the beach.
The location is city centre, but it’s quite street. Owner of this hotel and all staff are very friendly.
There are a full set of plate, cups, cutlery. You can have tea, coffee, use a microwave and fridge.
Everything, it was our best stay in Spain ( and we went in Valencia, Salou, Tarragona and Barcelona). The apartements is beautiful, location beautiful, very clean, new equipments, great host.
