This accommodation is in a fabulous location overlooking the Danube and a short walk from/to Elizabeth Bridge. The apartment is on the fourth floor, reached by a lift (or stairs if you want the exercise) which gives it a fabulous lookout over the Danube. The central heating is second to none, also providing lots of hot water for a shower. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, the bed was comfortable, the pillows may be a little soft, but nothing that we couldn't cope with. The host was most helpful, communicating in a timely manner over email. As an aside - the apartment is in a block that has at least 20 other flats which appear to be occupied, but we did not see or hear another person the whole time we were there. The accommodation sits above one of the many tram lines in the city but we weren't bothered by noise during our stay - but we were there in March, so no need for windows to be open but it might be different in the summer. The lift has 'character' but works and was reliable. The accommodation was very clean and has been decorated in a tasteful manner, in keeping with the age of the building, but also offering modern facilities. Don't let the exterior of the building put you off - it is like a lot of buildings in Budapest, in need of some love, but the apartment has been completely renovated and is lovely.

One of the best places I've ever stayed. The apartment is so modern and has everything you need! it's a really really beautiful place. The neighborhood is safe. We had a car so it was easy for us to go to all the attractions. But even if you don't have a car it's easy to get around, there are plenty of buses. I highly recommend this place!
