Close to the station, much larger then other rooms we stayed in on our trip to Japan. Really comfy bed. Came with feather pillows and the staff happily switched these out for us. Great freebies (tooth paste, hair bands, combs), really decent coffee and tea. Lovely helpful staff. Location is also above a 24 hour 711 store which was helpful.

Hiroshima is a great city. The peace park and museum were very touching. It is incredible to see how the city has been rebuilt and is thriving. The day trip to Miyajima island is a must with a hike to Mt. Misen and seeing Otorii shrine.

Hiroshima is a thriving city now, which we were glad to see.
Hiroshima is a thriving city now, which we were glad to see. We walked around on our own one afternoon and had an excellent (and moving) local tour of the Peace Park and related memorials the next morning. For lunch we had a delicious local Okonomiyaki. For dinner we tried oysters done in five different preparations, as it is another specialty of the area. (They are quite large, however, and not our favorite.)
We never got to the castle or gardens, and did not visit Miyajima, which is why I would have liked one more night. But it was enough time for the basics. We would recommend that everyone take the time to visit Hiroshima. It is part of our collective history and essential now to understand the dangers we all face in today's volatile world.

We were independent travellers.
We were independent travellers. Hiroshima was easily accessible by public transport especially with the 'Free' JR pass hop on hop off bus. 3 separate circuits gave us plenty of choice. The 'Peace Park' precinct was a great focus for a day or even two.

Atomic Bomb Dome, Peace Park/ Museum and Miyajima were the highlights of the trip to Hiroshima,
Food for vegetarians is a bit of a challenge in Hiroshima; Margherita from Pizza Hut was atrocious.
Getting around is easy with good public transport.
Would avoid a budget hotel like Apa in future.

It is a powerful albeit sobering visit.
It is a powerful albeit sobering visit. The horror of the event is so clear when visiting the museam and monument. The town is loverly and eveywhere you see signs, art and street names evoking lover and peace. a testiment to the people who live there choosing positive sentiments today given the recent past. I think it is a good thing for prople to see and contempate.
Fantastic location - surrounded by lots of food and shopping. Easy street car to/from the train station. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The room had excellent blockout blinds for the morning sun. We were lucky enough to stay during the Hiroshima Flower Festival and had a festival (multiple blocks) full of food and entertainment right outside the hotel for the weekend. It's a nice easy walk from the hotel to the subway to get to Miyajima, and also to peace park.
The location is the best to view the Hiroshima memorials, including a view of the Atomic Dome outside of our room window. We could easily walk to all the important places. The people in the hotel helped us with everything, including how to travel to the ferry to Miyajima, securing a taxi the day we left for the train station, and even mailing our postcards on the morning we left. You will not be disappointed if you chose to stay here.
The location was very close to Hiroshima Station, and the machine/automated check-in and check-out were very easy to use. Also, we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel after checkout while we did a day trip to Miyajima. The staff member was also very nice and lent us an umbrella because the forecast said it would rain. The room was also larger than I expected. It was so nice to be able to pack luggage comfortably!
The hotel is in a really good location as it’s a few minutes from Hiroshima Station. It has good subway links, too. I just walked to the main attractions like the Atomic Dome and Hiroshima Castle as the weather was good and it only took 25 minutes. The hotel itself has restaurants, a bathhouse, and a Lawson. The check in/out system was very efficiently and the staff were helpful with information.
Location was good! You can see it right there after alighting at the tram stop. Staff were friendly and helpful. There's a nice hot bath in the hotel too and great to soak in after a long day of touring around. Nice restaurants and cafes nearby. Price was great at the time of booking! Auto checkout was easy. I'd love to stay here if I visit Hiroshima again!
Located between the train station and the main sights of Hiroshima as the Peace Memorial Park. Each about 15 mins by foot.
Good value for the money, big rooms compared to other hotels I stayed in Japan.
Very kind staff, one Receptionist even knew some German and Serbian - was a pleasure to stay there!
Fantastic hotel, location right at Hiroshima station with escalator access inside. Lot of food options in the station. Even the Starbucks coffee for an Australian was pretty good, better than in the US. Room was very comfortable, wished we could have stayed longer
Located right next to Hiroshima station with a connecting corridor. It was easy to find the hotel. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Toilet amenities were good. The hotel breakfast (not included) could be enjoyed at a discounted price and it was decent.
Fairly good location - a reasonable walk to sites like the castle and park, though not the most accessible. Hiroshima is very walkable though, so it is good if you want a cheaper place to stay that's somewhat central. Bathhouse connected to the hotel was nice.
The location was great, right in town center with many restaurants and eateries. Transportation was really convenient with local buses and trams. The hotel is within walking distance of most of the attractions Peace park, Atomic dome and Hiroshima castle.
The hotel was the perfect location to stay in Hiroshima. The views were amazing, both in my room and at breakfast. The staff was very attentive and the venue was clean. I loved that they had laundry facilities (which my next hotel did not).
Many amenities, including shower, toilet, washing machines and even a public spa. About a 10 minute walk from the Hiroshima station. There is an okonomiyaki restaurant for lunch and dinner and a Lawson on the first floor of the hotel.
The hotel was close to Hiroshima Station which made heading to sightseeing places easy.
Hotel was very clean & comfortable.
Everyone needs to go to the Atomic Dome/Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum when in Hiroshima.
Very well located hotel, close to the train station and shops. the room is very functional, well equipped, quiet and very clean. the staff are welcoming and helpful. I recommend this hotel for a stay in Hiroshima.
This is a good hotel in Hiroshima, just a short tram ride away from the main train station and centrally located. The rooms and hotel are modern and come with all of the amenities you would expect.
The staff was very accommodating on my departure date change.
Very close to the Hiroshima train station. A covered walkway leads to the hotel entrance from the station directly.
