The best is that it is off the grid in a small remote village in Japan. The truly local life is something hard to experience touring big cities. However, Yōrō itself does not have much more than onsen to offer, and is one hour away from Nagoya with one transfer. Even though we got used to the commute over time, the first couple days were exhausting.
