Excellent service, beautiful property and location, nice and quiet. We also loved the restaurant above the hotel, we ended getting dinner there a couple times. Definitely would recommend.

Amazing town-house in Sao Vicente with a great location and amazing view.. the place is fully equipped with everything you need. The decoration is beautiful and gives you a calm vibes. Leonel went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We enjoyed the company of the beautiful Crazy and Michy during our stay.

The apartments and studios are set in renovated family vineyard houses. Each of the self-catering units comes with a fully-equipped kitchenette, bedroom, garden and a furnished terrace. The heated units have a cosy living area. Free WiFi is available in all areas. On the North side of Madeira, I sought out this lodging because I believed it would be quiet and beautiful, which it certainly was. In addition, the host Viriato was incredibly kind and responsive, with personalized recommendations and a connection to the lived life of the island. The cottages are nicely renovated old homes, both charming and comfortable which is my ideal in a stay away from home. The gardens and outside areas surrounding the cottage are expertly crafted places for taking in the sights and sounds of the ocean. There are several roads and paths where you can walk directly to the beachfront, and parking is easy if you brave the mountainous roads of Madeira. I Highly recommended!

Serene and verdant mountain countryside. A quiet and tranquil venue. Very relaxing. Cottages/studios were very comfortable and cozy. Featuring mountain and garden views, this farm stay also has free WiFi. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the farm stay's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. Quinta Terezinha is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a base to discover the island. The host Laura was so friendly and was really useful in providing information for the shops, restaurants and places to visit. The accommodation itself was perfect and exceeded our expectations. The farmhouse was lovely with comfy beds, a great shower and really clean. We didn't really make the most of the outdoor areas, but there are hammocks, a barbeque and sun loungers all with amazing views. As others have mentioned, you will likely become the owner of a couple of cats for your stay which we loved. On arrival, Laura had prepared a welcome hamper with some local exotic fruits, ground coffee and a bottle of Madeira Wine which was a lovely touch. If you run out or want any more fresh produce from the farm then the instructions are to just help yourself. What an amazing stay - just wish we could have stayed longer.

Moinho do Comandante is located in São Roque, in Madeira. The unit is in a naturally green property, which features a spring of drinkable water.

Homes at the Comandante’s come with a seating area. There is a full kitchen with an oven and kitchenware. Featuring a bath, private bathroom also comes with a hairdryer and a bidet. Lake and mountain views may be enjoyed from one of the units. The whole accomodation was a wonderful paradise. We enjoyed the full equipped nice country house with a beautiful garden and the river. Carlos and Leonor are extremely hospitable and friendly hosts. Everything was great, bathing in the river, the delicious breakfast made by Carlos was for us an unique experience. Only a short walk from Calheta Beach, Quinta Escola offers cosy accommodation with a modern touch. Wake up to the sound of birds and marvel at the panorama from the comfort of the terrace or living room. Nice views Good off road parking. Barbecue area. Pool was ok.. a little chilly and high cost to have heated, especially as shared pool, it seems unfair for one guest to have to foot the bill of heating it.
