The mule pick-up service added a unique touch, making us feel like true adventurers as we arrived at the property. Our room had breathtaking views and we couldn't get enough of the ever-changing panorama and the sounds of the river stream and birds around us. We enjoyed Polo's culinary skills, showcasing local flavors and ingredients. The chocolate tour was an absolute highlight! Learning about the process while indulging in treats was an experience we won't soon forget. Also the inclusion of local fruits from the grounds was a delightful touch. It felt like a genuine connection to the land and its offerings. From the moment we arrived to the second we left, Polo's warm hospitality and attention to detail were evident. If you're seeking a getaway that combines stunning scenery, outstanding cuisine, and unforgettable experiences, look no further than this hidden gem!

Located in El Zaino, La Finca Lorena Tayrona features a garden, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, room service and luggage storage for guests. Everything. The place is beautiful, it’s super clean, new and very very cosy. The common area is amazing, with hammocks and the nice garden. The kitchen is very well equipped with all you need to cook. And the lady Ruth at the reception was really lovely with me during my stay. Even if you have to walk 10 min from the main road, it worth is as the place is really quiet at night and you don’t hear the noise from the road. Unfortunately I could stayed only one night but I would have loved to stay longer.

There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. We fall in love with the amazing nature surrounding the glamping. Sitting outside on our balcony was equal to a paid bird watching experience! The tents were really cozy and comfortable. We also loved the wrap dish that Paulo made for dinner😍

We arrived here tired and weary after the 4 day hike in la Ciudad Perdida and we really needed a rest. We chose this hotel because it is a few mns walk away from where the Ciudad Perdida tour jeeps turn off into the hills, so we were dropped off by car on our way out without needing to go to Santa Marta. We could not have chosen a better place: I have stayed in hotels all around the world and Senderos del Mar is one of my favourite. For a start, the rooms are clean and functional, with AC and warm water. The swimming pool is nice, the hotel is very safe and near a beautiful beach. In the restaurant, I did not expect the food to be as good as it was, but it was really top quality - in terms of fresh products, presentation and quantity! (I say this as someone from France). There are also vegetarian options and the chocolate "volcano" from the Sierra Nevada is to die for! In spite of all of these qualities, what makes the hotel special in my eyes is the staff: I have never seen such friendly, kind and helpful staff in my life. The security guy, Freddy, decided to help us by cleaning our dirty walking boots - and when I say clean, I mean clean - he even scrubbed our shoe laces! The hotel also did our laundry, and massages and horse riding activities were available as well. The receptionists, the waiters in the restaurant, and Luis the manager all provided exceptional care and we thank them for it.

Eco Hostal Kuima is located in El Zaino and features a pool with a view and mountain views. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The guest house provides garden views, a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. I’ve been traveling around colombia for the past month and Kuima is one of the best places I’ve stayed! We stayed for one night before entering Tayrona National Park, and then one more night when we left the park. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, and stored our larger bags for us while we were in the park at no extra cost. At about 2km from the entrance to the park, it’s a great location - far enough away from the madness of the entrance but close enough to walk or hop on a very quick bus ride, also with some good restaurant options in close walking distance. The rooms themselves are very comfortable, the pool was wonderful, wifi worked great, and the breakfast was simple but delicious. We found the price to be more than fair. Would highly recommend Kuima to anyone!
